 A 30% deposit of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking your safari holidays africa . The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the safari begins. Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 30 days prior to the tour. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if payment is not received in accordance with these terms. . For activities like gorilla trekking, a minimum of 12 weeks’ advance booking is required. Children under 12 are not permitted to trek chimpanzees, and children under 15 are not allowed on gorilla treks.

CONFIRMATION:
A booking is confirmed once a 30% deposit of the travel cost has been received. Remaining payments for camping safaris and mountain climbs can be settled upon arrival and the lodging safari clients remaining payments are done 60 days before the Safari.

TRANSPORTATION:
We provide well-maintained vehicles for safaris, including Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, and Toyota Minibuses with pop-up roofs, depending on the route and group size. We reserve the right to employ subcontractors when necessary.

RATES:
Rates are based on the prevailing fares and costs at the time of booking and may be subject to change due to fluctuations in currency or other factors.

CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS, AND NO SHOWS:
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges apply based on the number of days before departure:

• 365 to 61 days before departure: 30% deposit forfeited
• 60 to 46 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost
• 45 to 31 days before departure: 75% of the tour cost
• 30 days to the day of departure: 100% of the tour cost

If the cancellation is covered by your insurance, you may be able to claim these charges. Note that any non-refundable airline tickets issued are not subject to a refund.

TOUR ALTERATION:
We reserve the right to alter the route or tour arrangements due to unforeseen conditions, and we may offer alternative services of equal value. We also reserve the right to refuse or remove any guest from the tour if deemed necessary, in which case a proportionate refund will be made. Gorilla permits may be transferable in some instances.

LIABILITY:
(1) Authentic Maasai Safaris and its agents act on behalf of the passenger for all services related to hotel accommodation, transport, and sightseeing. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay resulting from any cause.
(2) Liability for passengers traveling in our vehicles is governed by the laws of the country where the tour takes place.
(3) Subcontractors may be employed to carry out part of the tour services, and the terms of clause (1) regarding liability will apply.
(4) We are not responsible for loss or damage to luggage. It is recommended to purchase separate baggage insurance.

PAYMENTS PREFERENCE:
All prices are quoted in US dollars. Payments should preferably be made by wire transfer to our bank account. Bank charges will apply at the prevailing rate. Local currency is accepted at the current exchange rate.

PRIOR NOTICE on PAYMENT:
To avoid fraud, payments should only be made to the official bank account of Authentic Maasai Safaris. We will provide bank details with your booking confirmation. We do not use personal accounts, nor services like Western Union or MoneyGram.
